ClearVista Media is a London-based team of media and PR specialists headed by Neville Thurlbeck, a high profile, multi award-winning Fleet Street journalist. Who we are

Neville Thurlbeck is a multi award-winning journalist and the founder of ClearVista Media. Neville spent 23 years on Fleet Street, rising to become the News Editor of the biggest selling newspaper in the world.

Due to his experience and a broad range of media contacts, Neville has been called upon to assist and advise clients as diverse as The Retail Ombudsman, the International Fur Federation and the X Factor winner Joe McElderry.

He has also helped several very high profile clients with his uniquely tailored crisis management packages, averting a potential media storm. Having famously survived reputational Armageddon himself when he was drawn into the News International crisis, Neville is in demand in this area.

Neville is also the Director of Communications (global) for the International Fur Federation, an industry which retails £23 billion per annum . He is responsible for communicating the industry’s message in 39 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Eurasia.

Previously, he was Director of Communications for The Retail Ombudsman (since renamed Retail ADR) from 2014-17, launching it nationally in the UK across all media platforms, helping it become the single biggest provider of Alternative Dispute Resolution in the retail sector.

Neville has won numerous press awards, including winning the British Press Awards Scoop of the Year award twice, a record which remains unbeaten. He is also a published author; his book “Tabloid Secrets” is the inside story of how some of his biggest newspaper scoops were broken.

Neville has had a regular TV spot on Russia Today since 2015, analysing and dissecting political events. He regularly lectures on the media, PR and crisis management and has been invited to address both the Cambridge Union and the Oxford Union.

He is assisted by a team of PR and media professionals with a vast experience of media work at a national level.

Tabloid Secrets

Neville Thurlbeck’s autobiography, Tabloid Secrets, is published by Biteback and gives an account of how the popular newspaper industry works, as seen through the prism of his biggest stories.
